Our wedding day was June 18, 2005. It was a wonderful weekend, starting with the rehearsal dinner at Cafe de France in the Birmingham Botanical Gardens. The food was outstanding and being with freinds and family made it that much better. At the rehearsal dinner, I debuted a slideshow I put together for Susan, our friends, and family to enjoy. The Wedding Day was what I guess was the normal chaos of a wedding. The battery of my until-then trusty Nissan Altima decided to die just as I was headed to the church. I was a little late for the pre-wedding pictures because of the vehicle malfunction, but everything went off without a hitch.

Our ceremony was held at Bluff Park United Methodist Church in Hoover, Alabama, with a reception held at the Wynfrey Hotel next to the Galleria. I'm not sure either could have gone any better - I think our biggest gripe was not having time to enjoy the wonderful dinner served at the reception!
